Description
SAIC is seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide administrative support to the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of this program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is ON-SITE at the SAIC office in Santa Maria, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
. The successful candidate will support the contract staff with a broad range of acquisition, financial, and administrative capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, sustainment, and lifecycle acquisition activities.
. Support a variety of onboarding activities for new team members including equipment coordination, badging requests, paperwork collection, etc.
. Performs routine and non-routine tasks including special projects.
. May be responsible for scheduling and arranging meetings, for researching and securing requested information, and for researching, compiling and proofing of various reports and studies.
. May take and/or transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, distribute mail, answer phones, respond to customer/client/employee inquiries, and other office administrative duties as required.
. Interacts with other support staff and departments to gather, supply, or coordinate information.
. The successful candidate will require minimal supervision and may work without established procedures.
Qualifications
. High School diploma and at least eight (8) years or more related experience
. Experience must include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.), Defense Travel Systems, Task Management Tool.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
