The Opportunity:
As scrum master for a back-end development team of the SAFFIRE Agile development organization, you will be working closely with developers, our business analyst, and our government product owners to build enterprise software that meets mission needs. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing and DevSecOps.
Responsibilities:
Participate in SAFe ceremonies within a Solution Train as a scrum master of a team within an Agile Release Train
Facilitate Agile ceremonies suchasSprintPlanning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives
Work closely with the Release Train Engineer to execute PI plans
Champion a culture of continuous improvement
Assist your product owner and development team in meeting missionby helping prioritize work and removing impediments
Coach the team on Agile processes
Help resolve issues/conflict that arise during development and escalate them as necessary
Work across Product Teams to ensure end-to-end solutions for the Agile Release Train
Be the line manager for the team members you lead
Qualifications:
Required:
At least three years' experience as a scrum master
Demonstrated experience leading multiple scrum teams following Agile/Scrum practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience within an organization utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Bachelor's degree in STEM
Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira
Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to sit for a polygraph
Desired:
Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience with development in microservice based architectures
Understanding of web application development concepts
Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
