If you do, Batteries Plus has aNEW & UNIQUEteam associate/device repair technician opportunity for you! Batteries Plus is looking for an individual, when trained, is able to diagnose & repair cell phones, tablets as well as analyze customer battery and light bulb issues. We also help customers with other products and services as needed in addition to Automotive key cutting and FOB programming function within Batteries Plus franchise.
Device Repair Technician / Associate Duties:
Repair cell phones, tablets, battery packs and other devices as needed
Assist in day to day customer service and sales support in a team environment
Help receive, stock, pack and ship items as needed by the manager
Maintain proper stocking inventory, cycle counts and stocking, testing and charging as needed
Participate in formal training of store associate duties including knowledge of batteries, bulbs, device and tech center repair and related product and operations
Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Device Repair TechnicianQualifications:
Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent.
Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, listening customer service skills, both oral and written. Strong customer service focus. Ability to inform, teach, and train
Working conditions are typical for a retail/warehouse environment, with some tasks (i.e., live store support) being done in a traditional office setting
This position requires the employee to regularly use hands to handle or touch electronic products The position also requires the employee to regularly use a computer and other office equipment
This position requires lifting 10-20# on a regular and frequent basis, 50# on an occasional basis, and more than 50# on an infrequent basis.
