Description: This is an IT Engineering Manager role within the Operations and Cyber Resiliency organization of Enterprise Operations (EO) currently supporting the Rotary and Mission Systems Business Area of Lockheed Martin. The Digital Buildings Systems (DBS) manager will be responsible for managing a team of subject matter experts in the digital transformation of Security Systems including Video Management Systems (VMS), Physical Access Control Systems(PACS), Facilities Building Management Systems (BMS) and Environment Safety and Health applications within a varied IT portfolio of 120+ applications.

Successful candidates will partner closely with functional stakeholders in other IT organizations including Cyber, network, infrastructure and other organizations to standardize, consolidate, sustain and continue to transform these systems in support the OneLM vision. The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Lead, drive innovation, and foster a growth mindset for a team of seasoned professionals, early career employees, and interns.

- Manage the support, enhancement, and integrations of Digital Buildings Systems.

- Direct the planning and coordination of system enhancements and sustainment initiatives.

- Ensure projects are completed on schedule following established procedures

- Develop work assignments and assess performance.

- Facilitate employee training, salary, and recognition, as well as disciplinary actions

- Coordinate with team to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

- Manage frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside vendors at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts

- Manage both Capital and Expense projects and department budget including the software sustainment agreements with multiple external vendors.

This is a fully remote position, with preference given to candidates located near a Lockheed Martin facility.

Basic Qualifications:

- Leadership skills, including the ability to manage people and resources across various projects (prior L-code not required)

- Demonstrated experience of working across multiple teams to drive activity to closure

- Self-motivated with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field (or equivalent work experience)

- Typically 8+ years of professional experience.

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with IT standards, processes, and procedures.

- Strong business analyst skills and people skills.

- Demonstrated management of multimillion dollar projects, including labor and non-labor components (support agreements, capital requests, etc.)

- Ability to estimate and manage project risks

- Prior experience with development and/or management of Access Control, Video Management, Physical Access Control, and Intrusion Detection systems (e.g. Avigilon, Lenel OnGuard, Milestone, Exaqvision, or similar) is extremely helpful

- Experience with Agile development processes and tools

- Familiarity with FAR 52.204-25 and Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act

- A working understanding of UL 2050, DOD Manual 5205.07 and 32 CFR 117.15 as it pertains intrusion detection systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
