Job Description
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is looking for a Sales & Events Manager who can be a part of a dynamic team of 5 or more, connected within the Las Vegas market, loves helping a business grow and most importantly, is fun! You'll have the opportunity to assist the Group Sales Team with building revenue while contributing to the overall team environment and positively impacting our operation as a whole. Successful people in this role will thrive in a non-traditional work environment, can easily and successfully transition from one task to another, have a strong work ethic and understand the importance of their contribution to making the team successful. Reports directly to the Director of Sales & Events.
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas Sales & Events Manager
Responsible for booking groups of 350 attendees or more (non-DMC) as well as alternating incoming inquiries
Responsible for building rapport with assigned hotel group to increase lead generation
Responsible for servicing groups within their market to include BEOs, Invoices, Floorplans and working with local vendors
Assist in keeping Sales Office organized and presentable to all clients
Responsible for prospecting all groups that fall within the assigned attendee range for all markets with a main focus on convention/corporate
Attend all necessary meetings/trainings
Responsible for entering all of their groups into Delphi and maintaining accounts as well as prospecting for new business
Become an active member in one or more approved local associations (LVHA, ILEA, NACE, etc)
Responsible for assisting with training of any new sales team members
Participate in the rotation of BEO packet check
Responsibilities Professional Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of sales or event execution experience. (restaurant experience a plus)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deal with difficult clients while maintaining professionalism
Strong ability to multitask
Strong organizational and priority setting skills
Experience in sales tracking software (Salesforce/Delphi experience a plus)
Proficient in all Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Outlook
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Flexible schedule to include working Saturdays/Sundays when needed
Strong work ethic to include attendance, quality of work and support of colleagues
