SAIC is looking for a Layered Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Analyst to join our team in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.

Job Description:

  • The Layered Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Analyst and Simulation Integrator will provide military studies and analysis assistance with knowledge in the military staffing process, threat air defense doctrine while evaluating simulations capabilities.

  • The candidate will work at the Fires Battle Lab in Ft. Sill OK and will be responsible for customer interaction and coordination with onsite & remote support of the SAIC simulation software team that is located in El Paso TX.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Write reports and Executive Summaries (EXSUM) generally free of grammatical errors.

  • Develop Vignettes and Scenarios within Layered Air Defense experiments. Assist in the design and execution of Layered Air Defense experiment components.

  • Conduct research across the community of practice; inform the Layered Air Defense team of research and how it applies to the design of current Layered Air Defense experiments.

  • Assist in developing a methodology for the collection of data for Layered Air Defense experiments, assist in analyzing experimentation and simulation data qualitatively and quantitatively concerning Layered Air Defense experiments, assist in the development of an analysis plan for each Layered Air Defense experiment, assist in the development of a study plan for each Layered Air Defense experiment and assist in the development of a data collection plan for each Layered Air Defense experiment.

  • Attend all experiment planning meetings, attend meetings and in-progress reviews of Layered Air Defense experiments IPRs and Working Groups concerning Layered Air Defense experiments.

  • The candidate shall provide simulation and survey data collected throughout conduct of Layered Air Defense experiments, the candidate shall provide a written accurate representation of threat Layered Air Defense and organizations for experiments.

  • Prepare and present briefings to leadership and stakeholders.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide FBL specific scenarios and Vignettes for threat Layered Air Defense experiments.

  • Provide written evaluation of Simulations or other models employed to software engineers describing the accuracy of threat air defense systems modeling in the simulation.

  • Provide written evaluation IAW testing standards for Layered Air Defense experiments, a written examination developed from the testing standards, and written certification as proof all simulations completed testing and evaluation.

  • Provide written insights, findings, and recommendations resulting from experimentation surveys, interviews, and questionnaires specific to assigned position in the Layered Air Defense experiments, AARs, trip reports, and Layered Air Defense briefings.

  • Provide simulation and survey data collected throughout the conduction of the Layered Air Defense experiments.

  • Provide comments, findings, and recommendations for each concept or capability development document reviewed in regard to Layered Air Defense experiments.

  • Provide Trip, interim and final reports and briefings written in MS Word that is in a format provided by Fires Battle Lab.

  • Attend seminars, conferences, and working groups, aid in planning, coordinating, facilitating and executing to include submitting after action reports. Provide written and electronic input to reports, papers and briefings.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree and 0 years experience; four (4) years of experience in a related field accepted in lieu of degree.

Required Experience:

  • Air Defense IAMD experience.

  • Ability to perform Systems Analyst principles to resolve complex computer Systems issues.

  • Experience developing and implementing training objectives that focus on current TTPs.

  • Ability to interact and communicate with executive level Army, civilian, and contractor leadership.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge.

Required Clearance:

  • Must have an Interim Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a full Secret; US Citizenship required.

Desired Experience:

  • Understanding of IAMD Operations and Architectures of all Army and Joint Systems.

  • Candidate will also be required to provide exercise support, software testing and development in support of local and remote exercises as needed.
