Our client is seeking a PLC Programmer to join their team. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing PLC programs, supporting plant installations and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: PLC Programmer
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay Rate: Pay between $35-$40/hour (Will be dependent on experience level)
Key Responsibilities
Individual will be part of a project team and provide process automation support to meet project milestones
Use their technical knowledge and experience to assure the efficient operation of variety of automated processing and information technology systems and will lead in installing and placing new equipment into operations
Support plant installations, and commissioning activities for factory automation. Also perform end of line testing of equipment.
Requirements
Experience with Rockwell (Logix 5000), Siemens TIA Portal
Prior experience with GM, Ford and Stellantis.
Minimum of 3 years experience
