The Certified Master Teacher is the pinnacle role on the Educator Career Pathway. This elite group of educators are learning ambassadors in our schools. They successfully participated in a 9-month long journey to become certified and play a significant role in their schools acting as peer mentors and coaches on the educational programming in their age tracks.
Job Responsibilities:
Mentor! Role models for their peers by being an educational leader in the school. Assists school management with mentoring and training new hires.
Grow! Participate in quarterly professional development sessions to continue their growth as mentors and best guide the teachers in their school.
Educate! Acts as a learning accelerator by supporting the development of existing teachers to improve program quality within the school.
Team Player! Serve as a resource in educational programming, developmentally appropriate practice, and behavior guidance.
Communicate! Practices respectful communication and maintain productive relationships with their peers and families they serve.
Job Requirements:
Must hold a CURRENT Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA), Associate or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, or equivalent.
Must successfully complete all Master Teacher training (Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3) to become a Certified Master Teacher
Must meet all standards and requirements as it relates to education and experience as set forth by the state and accreditation agent.
