Job Description:
Responsible for managing the Logistics functions for assigned sites. Responsibilities include organizing department functions and activities under the direction of the Logistics Director. The Manager works with the Logistics Director to establish goals, objectives and standards of performance for the operation of multiple sites. The manager will be accountable to interpret and carry out policies, standards and regulations to personnel, vendors, patients, medical staff and the public. Maintains cost effective and operationally effective stocking levels, manages both on and off-site distribution facilities and develops, updates and utilizes reports to facilitate the management of these processes. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others. Work Experience: 5 years distribution, logistics and/or operations management experience including leadership/supervisory experience. Experience with an automated Materials Management, ERP, or Inventory Management system Experience in supervising staff in a health care delivery network, retail operation, or manufacturing operation preferred.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Licensure/Certifications: Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management or the National Association of Purchasing Managers certification preferred
