TheProduct AnalystatBatteries Plusworks with our Product Management team and cross functional groups to support and execute on strategies supporting the growth of the assigned business units, which include Battery, Device Repair and Lighting.

Responsibilities:
Product Management
Execute on projects and tasks to support overall business unit strategies.
Coordinate information and communication needed to support the product line - including bringing new products to market, making vendor changes, and discontinuing product. Follow up with cross functional teams, with manager assistance/direction, to ensure projects are moving forward according to timelines.
Use systems to run ad hoc and regular reporting to support everyday and strategic initiatives of the business unit.
Use basic financial analysis skills (sales, gross margin, averages) to review data/information, and provide recommendations or answers to the Product Management team.
Use basic financial skills and vendor/competitor data to make pricing recommendations to the Product Management team on new and existing products.
Develop deep product knowledge for the business unit and act as a resource for internal and external inquiries. Respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
Partner with Data Management to ensure product data is accurate and look for opportunities to improve content. Provide accurate and timely Item Set Up to Data Management and Demand Planning to set up new products.
Work with Marketing, Sourcing, QA and other teams to generate accurate and timely spec/sell sheets and product packaging. Manage the market request and review process.
Bid Support
Partner with Sales Effectiveness Coaches, Product Management team and vendors to provide bid pricing to stores, within a quick turn-around time. Make recommendations to the Product Management team, Sales Effectiveness Coaches and stores on pricing, alternative products, and alternative vendors.
Build relationships, inform and negotiate with vendors to gain bid support.
Maintain accurate records of bid information.
Work with internal teams and systems to ensure bid pricing is provided to stores once an opportunity is won.
Create business unit specific bid reports or summaries, as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
2+ years product/market development, market research or related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suites, specifically Excel
Ability to assess situations using statistical and qualitative analysis 2
