Our client in the scientific research industry is seeking a Biologist I to join their team. As a Biologist I, you will be part of the research and testing department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Title: Biologist I
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $34.85 per hour
What's the Job?
Conduct research and testing on basic and applied principles of microbial, plant, human, and animal life
Specialize in Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular/Cellular Biology, or Virology
Perform structured work assignments and extract information from existing databases or literature
Collect and study biological data to focus on structure, function, behavior, and tailored application
Complete technical evaluations and/or assessments of biologics, biological mechanisms, or biological properties
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field
Citizen and eligible to receive a Security Clearance
Ability to conduct biological experiments under direction of management
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot the testing process when expected results are not obtained
