CACI's Business Systems Operating Group is searching for individuals who can deliver application development and support for NASA's enterprise business systems. Selected candidates will deliver and sustain capabilities in a fast-paced SAFe agile development environment. Work includes collaborating on systems and solutions supporting large portfolios from business, analysis, technical, systems, data, and enterprise functions.
CACI is looking for a Solution Train Engineer with experience leading a Solution Train. The desired candidate will be a servant leader and coach for the Solution Train, facilitating and guiding the work of all ARTs and Suppliers in the Value Stream.
More About the Role
Communicate the Solution Vision, Technology Vision and Roadmap for ARTs and teams to plan the Program Increment (PI).
Facilitate solution backlog preparation and work with the Solution Management to refine the Solution Backlog.
Collaborate with the RTEs to ensure the ARTs are well-prepared for PIs.
Help discover dependencies ahead of PI Planning allowing the Solution Train to avoid disconnects and duplicate efforts while establishing necessary interactions with other parties critical to the success of a PI.
Prepare and communicate Solution Train PI Planning agenda in coordination with the ARTs PI Planning agenda
Facilitate Pre-PI Planning and Post-PI Planning events
Help the Solution Train assess its capacity and collect appropriate PI measures like predictability, overall Solution Train capacity, and capability/feature throughput.
Facilitate the Large Solution PI Planning and ensure visibility and effective interaction across ARTs
Establish reliable communication with RTEs by conducting multiple RTE Syncs to quickly respond to impediments during PI Planning and direct their effort where it's needed most.
Summarize PI Planning objectives across the Solution Train and create a set of Solution Train objectives.
Facilitate synchronization across the Solution Train with weekly syncs involving Solution Management, Solution Architects, Product Management, RTEs, and System Architects from ARTs.
Build and maintain the solution board to help focus everyone's attention on the right deliverables.
Ensure frequent solution integration to reduce technical risks and maintains steady progress in large solution development.
Facilitate PI Solution Demos when necessary and establish a rhythm of release activities within and across the ARTs (e.g., release tracking, release management meetings).
Establish Solution Train flow measures by measuring the flow of the highest-level items (solution epics and capabilities).
Ensure that the Solution Train's outcomes and Value Stream KPIs are measured and inform future decisions.
Facilitate the Solution-Train-level Inspect & Adapt (I&A) event as part of the SAFe improvement process and results in a set of improvement items.
You'll Bring These Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven (7) years of related experience
Two (2) years' of SAFe Release Train Engineer or Solution Train Engineer experience
Certified SAFeR Release Train Engineer or Certified SAFeR Program Consultant (SPC)
Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass an IT-1 background investigation.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$95,500-$210,100
