This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to the maintaining of the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. * Experience with Distribution and/or commercial building maintenance, * General roof inspections (Roof Drains, Exhaust fans, AC, Roof membrane) * Landscaping * Plumbing * Painting * Carpentry * Lighting * Knowledge of electricity and electric control panels (Any training or schooling a plus) * Drywall installation and repair * Concrete repairs & coatings * High bay racking * Roll up doors * Janitorial requirements and supplies (good housekeeping) * Building safety and safety for all personnel * Ability to identify facility needs and or potential problem areas * Ability to use all shop tools * Must be CAL OSHA certified on a Reach and/or Order Picker/Walker Rider equipment, etc. * Ability to keep the department OSHA Compliant * Extensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety * Communicate with upper management on a daily basis * Ability to take directives from Maintenance Manager * Good oral and written communication skills * Must be detail oriented, * Perform housekeeping duties when needed, * Must be able to take constructive criticism * Ability to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times, * Must be able to perform any other special projects and general requests made by direct supervisor as needed * Ability to contribute _hands on_ * Work with minimal supervision QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
