The Medication Technician / Certified Nurses Aid @ The Cardinal at North Hills is responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident's physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

FT - (1) 7a-3p CNA - SKN
FT - (4) 3p-11p (3) MT AL/MC & (1) CNA for SKN
PT - (2) 3p-11p (1) MT - AL & (1) CNA - MC/AL
PT - (1) 4:30-8:30a CNA or MT MC
PT - (1) 11p-7a (1)CNA-SKN
$2000 Sign on Bonus for FT
$1000 Sign on Bonus for PT
Must be a valid North Carolina CNA
What will I do every day as a MT?
Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to supervisor
Assist residents with simple requests as needed
Document and report changes of condition
Provide medication set up and assistance
Log in medications from pharmacies, verify physician's orders and communicate any concerns
Track all medications and re-order as needed
Track residence vital signs, diabetic testing and/or insulin injection, ambulation, etc.
What will I do every dayas a CNA?
Assist residents with simple requests as needed
Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities
Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
Document care provided to residents consistent
Provide input to assure that resident individual service plans are current
Review 24 hour report and care check lists regularly
What will I need to be successful in this role?

High school education or GED equivalent preferred
Nursing assistant course completion
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
First Aid certification and CPR, if required
Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications
Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
PCA if required
