Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Marine Painters / Sanblasters for projects located in and around Everett, WA. This job offers multiple shifts with a pay rate of up to $31/hour based on experience & skill level plus $165/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Utilize sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting
Apply paint with a spray gun, brush, or roller to the interior & exterior of shops & aircraft
Clean surfaces with solvent, water, rags, brushes, & other tools to remove grease, dirt, & old paint
Apply paper & masking tape to protect unpainted areas
Operate equipment such as spray guns & blast pots
Mix paint to achieve desired colors & consistencies
Read & understand drawings & blueprints
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Must have at least 5 years of recent Marine Shipyard Experience
C14 Certification
Must be a US Citizen
Must have Respirator Certification
