Job Description

Job Summary:

The Role: Work directly with venue leadership to ensure the safe and timely set up and tear down of the venue as it relates to each concert.

Job Functions:

  • Work before, during, and after events to ensure the venue is always "Show Ready" for the guests and artists coming to SPAC

  • Assist with venue set up and tear down of venue for events which includes, but does not limit: moving bike rack for access points, hangning signage, setting up fencing, laying down lawn coverings, placing metal detectors, picking up/returning lawn chairs, and other duties as assigned

  • Cooperate with all staff and promote a safe and productive work environment

  • Observe and analyze site and surroundings to proactively address any arising issues

  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

  • Perform minor repairs when necessary

    Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Schedule is event based. Open availability including weekdays, nights, and weekends preferred

  • Must be able to work 12-16 hour shifts when scheduled

  • Ability to multitask in fast paced, high demand work environment regardless of weather and other outdoor elements

  • Driver's license encouraged. Fork lift and machinery operating experience appreciated

  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and occasional sitting, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+
