Travel Consultant Lead
Full-time, (Virtual) Homebased in the US

In this role you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e., phone, email, etc.). This Travel Consultant Lead is the primary point of contact for the client and provides active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related product. This position performs at an expert/senior level and demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry.

Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
Search and confirm travel reservations for the client
Appropriately respond and resolve client inquiries
Consistently exceed individual and team goals
Adhere to BCD Travel policies and procedures to maintain quality control
Seek opportunities to review operational processes and the commercial relationship with client
Offer suggestions to the client and anticipates needs
Support BCD Travel and client driven initiatives
How you can set yourself apart
Relevant experience in the corporate travel management industry
Advanced skills on travel industry GDS tools (i.e., Sabre, Apollo)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Demonstrate excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills
Able to work flexible hours
