Job Description:

The Sonographer will provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills. This is a flex position (0.6 FTE) that will work a minimum of 24 hours per week but can flex to 40 hours per week based on staffing needs.
Education Qualifications:
Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and
Registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Work Experience:
None required.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months - Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency
If working in Department 12320 (MSK Ultrasound Program), must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
