THE TEAM

The Marketplace Product team at Ticketmasterdrives theconsumer experience for the onlineand mobileface of the business and the technology behind it -which enables fans to discover and buy the music, sports or arts and theatre tickets they justcan'tmiss out on.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our product team. Our product team manages a portfolio of web & app experiences that focus on the fan journey of discovering, purchasing and attending live events.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, marketing and business development teams to develop and execute the product strategy to facilitate and establish usable fan identities. The goal - to capture and aggregate data signals to enable informed decisioning; accurate profiling; effective experience targeting and timely engagement across the Ticketmaster ecosystem. Knowing who someone is, what they want, when and how they want it will drive commercial success, fan satisfaction and loyalty.

You will be responsible for defining and documenting requirements and working closely with creative and engineering teams to design, implement, test, and deploy in a fast-paced environment, as well as create real time data analytics to evaluate product performance.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished professional, with a proven track record of delivering world-class products, and a proactive, self-starter who is always looking to improve efficiency and solve problems as they are arise.This role is intensely cross-functional with a scope that spans fan experience, demand aggregation, marketing, campaign and data management.

They should possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the determination to make that vision a reality. They should enjoy spending time engaging with clients, business stakeholders, and internal support staff to understand different use cases and find innovative solutions to deliver compelling products and features.

This person should be flexible yet assertive, comfortable in an "all hands-on deck" environment, able to manage internal and external stakeholders, and operate/coordinate across multiple teams including Business Development, Engineering, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have a passion for envisioning, designing, and bringing transformative and leading-edge products to market.

  • Manage the entire product life cycle: influencing product strategy and direction, defining and prioritizing product requirements, features and functionality; owning product roadmaps; and recommending strategic product direction.

  • Help shape the roadmap for your products including consumer facing features, tooling for clients, and data feeds, in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Formulate a clear and coherent business case, competitive analysis, and product marketing documentation.

  • Specify market requirements for current and future product features by conducting market research and analyzing site and feature performance.

  • Define product specifications using clear and consistent user stories with any acceptance criteria or supporting documentation supplied.

  • Work with creative and engineering teams during the development cycle to ensure the product meets customer requirements.

  • Drive through delivery of a feature from conception to launch; develop and implement go-to-market plans and work with all departments to execute.

  • Produce up-to-date and accurate feature documentation, both within the release cycle as well as in an ad-hoc capacity.

  • Analyze and report on the performance of features in production, reflecting on successes and identifying areas for continuous improvement.

  • Create a positive environment for the product team including open, honest communication and a clear path to escalate risks and issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years of proven experience working on complex eCommerce software products in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adhere to tight deadlines

  • Ability to demonstrate impact and efficacy of initiatives on the business

  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills, and ability to influence, steer, and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions

  • Experience with deciphering business needs and converting requirements into clear, coherent specifications using user stories, user flows, acceptance criteria and any other supporting documentation.

  • Natural curiosity about how things work and a strong technical background to explore new technologies

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and writing skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of, or experience with, emerging technologies related to ticketing, live streaming, and/or live events
