THE WORK
As the Manufacturing Project Manager (MPM) for the Radar and Sensor Systems team, you will lead a dynamic group of professionals in all phases of production. This role involves:
- Leading and managing the MPM team through production planning, execution, and post-delivery support.
- Collaborating closely with Production Operations and factory leadership to set actionable Program Management Baselines (PMB) and strategies that meet or exceed program goals.
- Breaking down performance requirements into executable actions, ensuring cost and schedule targets are met or exceeded for all programs managed by the team.
- Serving as the key interface between Production Operations and the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring seamless communication, support, and responsiveness to drive program success.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives such as Value Added Base (VAB) strategies, affordability actions, and Lean/6S processes to enhance efficiency and performance.

Basic Qualifications:
-Proven History of Leadership and Capacity to Manage Diverse Teams in Dynamic Environment
- Strong Communication, Influencing and Interpersonal Skills
- Accountable decisive leader responsible for impactful decisions.
- 4 years PM/MPM/SPM experience in Defense Industry
- Demonstrated Ability to Manage Programs and Recommend/Implement Changes Resulting in Successful and Improved Outcomes
- EVM Certification with Successful Financial Management Expertise
- Strong Knowledge of Production Operations and Program Office
Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required

- Financial/Budgeting Knowledge
-SAP, COS, Tableau experience
-Bachelor's Degree in a Technical, Project Management, or Business Field
-Demonstrated ability to be accountable, make decisive and impactful decisions
-Thorough Knowledge of IWSS/USS Programs and Customers
- Strong Understanding of LM MST Manufacturing Processes Production Flow
- Knowledge and Experience Working with RADAR/SONAR Technology

- Ability to Create Strong and Lasting Relationships with all Internal
and External Stakeholders
- Experience with Development of Production Proposals and Familiarity with Multiple Contract Cost Types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $140,400 - $269,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $161,500 - $304,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
