About the Role

The Senior Director of Brand Operations leads engagement across each of Gap Inc's unique portfolio of brands and markets as the primary conduit to drive requirements within Supply Chain/Transportation operations teams. This role reports into VP of Logistics Control Tower. This role works across the core supply chain functions and leaders in logistics (Sourcing, Transportation, Fulfillment) as well as our brand functions of Design, Merchandising, Production, and Inventory Management to bring thought leadership for future operations and to build and deploy key capabilities for our responsive operating model. This leader plays a pivotal role ensuring that the global Supply Chain is positioned to drive business outcomes while maximizing revenue generation and enabling the commercial intent of the business. This leader is directly accountable for building and maintaining best in class planning and operating capabilities and tools across brand business teams and Supply Chain for Retail and E-Commerce, Inbound and Outbound operations, Responsive Supply Chain (RSC), and other core operating model capabilities. Specifically, this leader will oversee the seasonally-based Risk Assessment process in evaluating Product to Market planning, positioning Supply Chain capacity and operations to deliver financial targets, maximizing speed while minimizing cost. As capabilities mature and are introduced, this leader will ensure the team is accountable for driving adoption and institutionalizing capabilities into the operating model.

What You'll Do

  • Enables cross functional supply chain excellence in seasonal execution through optimized planning and capacity management, predictive analytics and prescriptive solutions development

  • Leads cultural transformation and develops best in class talent with operations expertise to fuel revenue maximization

  • Provides direction to the team to execute brand and customer needs as a seamless activity in the end to end in the supply chain working across sourcing and fulfillment teams.

  • Focuses on the best lead time to respond to business needs and optimizes execution end to end.

  • Drives leadership across brand for transformation to both core and responsive operating models

  • Leads the work to build central and sustainable capabilities and implementation at scale across both brands and supply chain - ensuring adoption of the right people/organization process and tools in collaboration with functional leaders

  • Partners with cross-functional product teams to identify improvement opportunities, streamlining of processes and effective operating meetings. This role is highly collaborative working across our brand organizations, supply chain and operations and human resources functions.

Who You Are

  • 15+ years of experience management consulting, retail/consumer products, or operations in product to market processes for apparel retail or another relevant field.

  • Advanced degree in operations, engineering, business or equivalent.

  • Consulting and strategy experience leading process and capability development.

  • Demonstrated facilitating and engaging with cross functional teams.

  • Self-motivated, organized, self-confident and self-directing with a proven ability to identify priorities and mobilize initiatives in an orderly fashion to achieve desired results with minimal supervision

  • Effective and efficient in identifying and proposing creative, innovative solutions to complex, time-critical challenges

  • Demonstrate good business acumen and curiosity.

  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
