Job Description:
Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages. They are also responsible for tasks relating to instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies.
Education Qualifications:
East Market:Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program
West MarketGraduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program
Fosston Location only:Graduate or Certification from accredited surgical technologist program, or graduate of accredited practical nursing program.
Central Market:Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist ProgramOR6 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist with the demonstrated qualification to sit for certification exam.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
East Market:Nothing noted
Central Market:Certified as a Surgical Technologist within one year of hire or transfer.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
West Market:Fosston Location:Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
Fargo Location:Certified as a Surgical Technologist is required one year after hire.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) upon hire.
