As an Intern with our Purchase Simplicity team, you will have the chance to create and develop Front End as well as Back End API's that ALL customers work with. Ready to work with one of the most exciting brands in the world? This is a 12-week paid learning experience with the team of creative achievers who builds our brand around outstanding products and services that make a significant impact on our customers. This role will be in Overland Park, KS but we're located in various locations/offices across the country that you will get to work with.
Summary
As a Software Development Engineer within The Purchase Simplicity team, you will support the promotions and pricing journey that integrates the highest profile promotions (Think of your favorite free device) within the purchase path that allows customers to take advantage of ever evolving promotions directly from T-Mobile.com. Working side by side with other Software Developers you will be directly contributing and building the purchase UX experience while keeping performance at the forefront.

HTML, CSS, JSON, Yaml, Swagger; Java; JavaScript; TypeScript; NodeJS.
UI Frameworks: Hapi, RxJs, NgRx, NestJS, NodeJS; Angular; React; Adobe Experience Manager.
Data Persistence: AWS S3; Redis.
The experience you'll bring.
Must be a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Network Engineering, or similar.
You will become comfortable with common developer tools and can use them with assistance (e.g., GitHub/Gitlab or an IDE)
Familiar with basic concepts of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Typescript)
Interested in working on Front End applications
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and OOP concepts is preferred
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
At least 18 years of age by April 30th, 2022
Legally authorized to work in the United States
High School Diploma or GED
Must be actively enrolled in University/College course credits. GAP year students are ineligible.

T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
