Description
Currently, we are seeking Experienced Automotive Locksmith / Key Technician to be a floater and service an expanding market in making keys to cars with high security key and transponder systems. Many new cars today have computerized transponder systems that need to be programmed. Our technicians receive all the tools and supplies for the job along with advanced training. Must have Automotive programming & locksmith experience. We are Looking to hire for the California Surrounding areas. This is a floater position with 50% travel throughout the West region.

Responsibilities:
Traveling on a route between multiple dealerships within an assigned territory.
Providing coverage for vacations as well as emergency/unplanned assignments on an as needed basis.
Work on a customer's dealer lot and produce duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles that are in need of one or multiple working keys.
Program keys so that the vehicle functions like it did the keys that came from the original equipment manufacturer.
Maintain equipment and inventory within an assigned company vehicle.
Accurately submit invoices and work orders into an invoicing system on a timely basis.
Maintain a positive relationship with the customer and address any questions or concerns on the spot.
Qualifications:
5yrs. Automotive programming & locksmith experience required
Automotive Key Duplication, Programming, and Origination skills required
Intermediate knowledge with a personal computer.
Sales and customer service experience are essential.
Must be responsible, reliable and able to work without constant supervision.
Must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
Determination to succeed
Professional integrity
Criminal background, MVR, and Pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to travel 50% throughout assigned West region.
