Badger Daylighting is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic minded Talent Acquisition Coordinator to work out of our Brownsburg, IN corporate office. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will play a vital role supporting full-cycle recruitment and team activities required to successfully hire top talent and to deliver best in class talent solutions. The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, flexibility, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as primary support for the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers and candidates.
- Assists in the coordination of recruiting activities and sourcing tools which include our recruiting events, web content and social media efforts.
- Assists with employer branding and delivery of internal and external talent program marketing and sourcing initiatives.
- Support the organization and RPO team on recruiting best practices.
- Enters and maintains integrity of data in the recruitment database.
- Collaborates with team members to ensure data in the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) and HCM (Oracle) system is accurate and up to date.
- Formulates and responds to a variety of (email, personal, phone) queries in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with hiring managers and others in the organization.
- Responsible to record, process and follow up on invoices and any other financial information for the department. Follows up on any inconsistencies throughout the employment process with applicants, vendors, analysts and/or managers.
- Liaises with external recruitment firms and strategic partners on a variety of matters.
- Screens and routes resumes that come in via mail, website or other avenues and responds to inquiries that are directed to the department.
- Maintains confidentiality of HR information including candidate, employee, former employee, and departmental/strategic communications.
- Participates on project teams with the goal of continuous improvement.
- Identifies opportunities for improving the candidate and hiring manager experience regarding the recruitment process.
- Other duties shall be assigned as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a corporate support role in talent acquisition.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Social Media experience in a recruiting capacity.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, job boards, and web media.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills with a proven ability to succeed in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Pro-active and solution-focused problem solver with an eye on continuous improvement
- Customer service focused with a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment where work tasks vary and processes can change quickly.
