Job Summary: Supervises a group of associates involved in the performance of a wide variety of accounting duties such as accounts payable accounts receivable sales and invoice audit account reconciliation and the preparation of reports. Will have oversight of multiple business units andor complexes. Qualifications: GENERAL EXPERIENCE Three years of experience in accounting functions which enabled the applicant to apply knowledge of established accounting and related data processing procedures and techniques. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE 1 year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelors degree for 3 years of general experience. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE One year of responsible experience in the following analyzing classifying or recording transactions balancing reconciling adjusting or examining accounts developing or verifying accounting data for reports statements and schedules analysis of accounting data andor designing or developing more efficient effective processing methods accounting or similar experience that demonstrated the following mathematic aptitude and accuracy attention to detail good cognitive skills in applying procedures and resolving discrepancies financial software skills.
