The mission of the Lone Wolf Team is to support, operate, and maintain a DoD (Department of Defense) provided, integrated voice, video, and data global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Engineer Project Managers on large projects or significant segments of large complex projects using the ITIL model under Service Strategy.
Develop project schedules, task dependencies, milestones, and reporting metrics in support of complex enterprise engineering efforts.
Successfully identify and track risks /issues and mitigation efforts for successful project delivery.
Provide timely, accurate, and succinct daily/weekly reporting of ongoing project efforts and assist in the forecasting, scheduling and planning of multiple concurrent projects.
Engage with Functional Managers to determine resource allocation across multiple matrix teams and provide deconfliction of priority project assignments.
Ensure clear identification of requirements on new service requests and engage with technical teams to specify technical tasks, level of effort and basis of effort estimates, and any functional gaps to address project execution.
Demonstrate technical knowledge in areas of enterprise network devices and services, major IT support systems - voice IP systems, video teleconferencing, MS Enterprise -AD/DFS/Print services, SAN storage subsystems, and computer hardware and software support.
Demonstrate technical familiarity with WAN/LAN topology, services, and terminology.
Serve as lead administrative supervisor, providing mentorship and coaching opportunities.
May be required to work beyond typical work times to include on-call, recall, and/or standby.
Requires travel (about 10-25%) primarily throughout the National Capital Region; Other travel locations may be required as well
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Expert use of MS Visio and Project and proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint tools.
Experience using Remedy or ServiceNow IT ticket systems

B.S./B.A. in IT or business-related field

Practical understanding of Microsoft Enterprise services and solutions for on premise environments.
PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification
ITIL certification
Knowledge of ITSM
