Our client in the energy industry is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the modeling team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, exceptional analytical skills, and experience in performing finite element structural analysis for non-linear stress/strain relationships.

What's the Job?
Develop models for sheet metal assembly using FEA commercial packages such as Abaqus and Hypermesh to support design qualification plans
Interface with cross-functional teams, create reports, and present modeling results on a regular basis
Proactively communicate design issues with the modeling team and propose solutions to address them
Provide structural analysis and design evaluation to solve fuel cell mechanical components and enclosure problems
Collaborate with scientists and engineers of various disciplines
What's Needed?
5 to 10 years of extensive experience in stress analysis and meshing packages, preferably in Abaqus and Hypermesh respectively
Ability to work collaboratively with scientists and engineers of various disciplines
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience in performing finite element structural analysis for non-linear stress/strain relationships, contact, sheet metal components, rivets, and bolted joints
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of strength of materials
