Job Summary:
THE ROLE:
The Guest Ambassador proactively interacts with guests before, during and after events to provide information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at the venue.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Act as a welcoming, knowledgeable ambassador of the White River Amphitheatre and Live Nation
Communicate venue information about policies and procedures to guests
Look for ways to proactively assist the guest to ensure they have an enjoyable experience
Answer questions about common venue programs such as upgrades, purchasing fan merchandise, etc. and venue amenities
Assist guests with needs such as finding their seats, seat relocation, escorting guests to special events and locating lost items
Assist in resolving guest complaints
Direct restroom and concessions lines, as needed, to shorten guest waiting times
Participate in the venue's sustainability program, which could include sorting waste, collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts
Partner with other crew members at the end of the show to store equipment, clean up and close the venue
Report maintenance and cleaning issues in a timely manner
Assist other departments to support staffing levels as needed
Other tasks as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 16 years of age or older
Must present unexpired original document(s) establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States
A clear pre-employment criminal background check is required
Must be comfortable talking with and proactively approaching guests
Creative thinker and problem solver
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills (foreign language speakers and ASL interpreters could earn a bonus!)
Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
A strong sense of teamwork
Position requires constant standing, walking and/or climbing stairs for long periods of time, outdoors in all weather conditions
Must attend employee orientation and complete required online training modules
