T-Mobile's Government Affairs department is looking for a candidate with exceptional communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills - poised, professional, and articulate. Someone who brings a positive energy and has a passion for keeping things organized using a well-thought-out plan while remaining flexible. What you'll do in your role.
All receptionist duties, including answering phones and greeting guests
Maintain inventory of office supplies, beverages, and snacks. Order and re-stock as needed.
Keep conference rooms and common areas in a tidy and orderly manner, ensuring each room is properly prepped for scheduled or drop-in visitors.
Become familiar with - and then function as initial point of contact for questions/issues related to - office supplies/facilities. Engage appropriate third-party suppliers as necessary.
Oversee office vendors to make sure the scope of work is being maintained
Escalate maintenance issues to the building maintenance team for any issues within the office
Interface with the building to manage bookings such as vendor approvals, loading dock reservations and parking garage management
Manage building security access by maintaining an accurate database of employees
Sort and distribute mail, ensuring team members are promptly made aware of all priority or time-sensitive communications as well as managing outgoing mail.
Work closely with Operations Team to support various department needs
Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events (research, hotels, catering, guest lists, gifts, etc.)
Assist with low level technology support
Responsible for maintenance of all office equipment (copiers, printer, WebEx etc.)
Track office protocols as requested.
Place catering order for meetings and setup/clean up
Part of Emergency Response Team - Respond to emergencies, attend trainings, quarterly meetings, and act as point of contact for building emergencies.
Manage Government Affairs and Conference Room calendars

2-4 years of office and administrative support
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Quick learner and able to figure out new systems and adapt on the go. Evidence of a solid attendance record (Note: remote work is not an option with this position although there is some flexibility that can accompany this role).

Independent - able to work under little direction and exercise sound judgment when making time sensitive decisions

Legally authorized to work in the United States
High School Diploma or GED
T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
