In this cost management role, the analyst will financially manage multiple contracts, working individually and as part of a team, to ensure the program meets its financial, schedule, and contractual requirements. This position will offer candidates the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills, and will provide exposure to senior leadership. The analyst will interact with program management, financial management, IPT leads, and functional finance personnel on a regular basis. A successful candidate will have a strong desire to continuously learn and develop their skills, and will be able to provide recommendations from a finance perspective to support program and company financial objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Contract Status Review (CSR)

- Analysis and forecasting of cost, orders, sales, profit, and cash flow

- Establishing and managing program cost baselines and budgets

- Variance analysis

- Highlighting issues/concerns/trends to the program team, and helping to develop solutions

- Customer reporting

- Proposal support

- Assisting other team members.

For a level 3, we typically require 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Basic Qualifications:

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

- Experience establishing budgets and managing cost baselines

- Ability to deal with challenges and to develop solutions to issues

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic environment and to meet deadlines

- Strong Excel proficiency

- Detail oriented and organized

- Ability to provide training and assistance to team members

Desired Skills:

- Cost management experience on large production and/or development contracts

- Experience forecasting orders, sales, profit, cash flow

- Familiarity with risk and opportunity analysis

- Experience with LMMFC software and systems, such as EFS

- Working knowledge of Tableau

- EVMS (Earned Value) experience beneficial, but not required

- Working knowledge of proposal/estimating process

- Finance or business related degree preferred

- Leadership skills

- Self-starter with motivation to perform with excellence

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
