Brooklyn Bowl integrates a premier performance venue, food by Blue Ribbon, bars which feature local craft brewed beers, and 32 bowling lanes which give guests a unique place to relax, eat, drink and watch a performance.
Job DescriptionBrooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is looking for a Facilities Manager who is dispatched to various sites throughout the venue to evaluate and complete repair work on all pump, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical equipment. They report meter readings to department management and make proper adjustments to regulatory equipment as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Coordinates the services and activities of facilities maintenance, repair, and projects
Coordinates and reviews the work activities, projects and programs associated with building and facilities maintenance and construction
Reviews and evaluates work projects, methods and procedures
Meets with contractors to identify and resolve problems
Identifies opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; reviews with appropriate management staff; implements improvements
Prepares specifications for various contract jobs; evaluates various bids and proposals for contracts; makes contract recommendations; monitors contracts to ensure compliance
Supervises and provides guidance to general contractors; estimates project costs for feasibility; ensures that bids are cost effective
Manages, plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises and revises the work of staff responsible for providing facilities management and maintenance services within the division; reviews and approves evaluations, time sheets and other personnel actions
Maintains and updates a variety of files and records; distributes work orders; prepares a variety of written documents including reports, letters, memorandums and other correspondence
Ensures that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
Maintain ongoing communication with General Manager and other members of management team
Collaborates with General Manager on budgeting for facilities needs
HVAC - general understanding of HVAC Maintenance
Manage department staffProfessional Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
HVAC - preventative maintenance
Knowledge of bowling maintenance and operations
Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal/external) oriented self-starter
Strong procurement and negotiation skills
Strong communication skills
Budgeting skills
Time management skills
Problem solving skills
General computer skills
