Completion Supervisor role overseeing coatings in Aircraft Final Finishes on 3rd shift.

What You Will Be Doing

- Supervise and coordinate daily operations for coatings in Aircraft Final Finishes, ensuring tasks are prioritized based on production needs.

- Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

- Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company procedures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and maintain efficient workflow on the shop floor.

- Conduct routine inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.

- Provide performance feedback, enforce policies, and encourage a positive team environment on the 3rd shift.

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency without compromising safety or quality.

- Prepare and deliver shift reports to upper management, ensuring clear communication of any challenges, accomplishments, or safety concerns.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience in Low Observable Coatings

- Experience Leading

- Experience working within a union environment

Desired Skills:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a coatings facility, with a strong understanding of safety protocols, FOD compliance, and fuel component testing.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and support team members in achieving shared goals.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of effectively troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.

- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools, with the ability to analyze data, generate reports, and present findings.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
