Description
SAIC is currently seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst located at Camp Smith near Pearl City, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM headquarters to provide information management skills in coalescing large volumes of data spread across multiple databases and software systems into meaningful and useful information to be used in creating user interfaces within the organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create and develop methods and means by which the information is clear and actionable and will need to effectively communicate the design and tools used to stakeholders at all levels of understanding.
Develop data visualizations and dashboards tailored to customer needs. Build applicable queries within data sets to optimize information for better understanding.
Effectively communicate with internal staff and external stakeholders to capture needs and objectives.
Develop strategies for implementation of Information Management and Knowledge Management (IMKM) process for staff both classified and unclassified.
Implement IMKM strategies across the directorate.
Effectively and efficiently organize, analyze and retrieve information.
Plan, structure, organize, process, control, evaluate and report on information activities.
Collect, store, disseminate, use and evaluate knowledge within the directorate to enable information and collaboration.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of relevant experience, additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Knowledge of best practices utilized within Information Management / Knowledge Management (IM/KM) across a DoD environment.
Strong knowledge of collaboration tools utilized within DoD, specifically Navy supported organizations.
Strong knowledge and ability to utilize Office 365 applications.
Must be an effective communicator (both verbal and written).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience handling large databases and understand how they function.
Experience with data visualization tools (Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables), Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Must have an Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Must be a current US Citizen.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
