About the role: We're looking for outgoing, confident professionals with a keen eye-to-detail and strong project management abilities. Solid Excel skills, event industry-experience and/or Cvent skills are a plus... but if you have the soft skills above we can train you on the rest.
As part of an assigned event project team, you will work on all type of in-person, virtual events and hybrid events. Incentives, sales meetings, large user conferences... 200 - 5000+ attendees. In this role, you will lead the online registration process and strategies as well as ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all registration deliverables. Daily duties include providing customer service to our registrants, working in our registration database (Cvent), creating registration data reports, managing hotel room block and activity inventory and on occasion traveling onsite to support our in-person events. As a Group Air Planner you will: - Responsible for leading all aspects of group air fulfillment on the assigned program - Serve as liaison/consultant between attendees, the extended Group Air team, Registration team, the Project Manager and client - In collaboration with registration website developer conduct reviews and tests of the registration website and provide feedback and edits - Prepare for and participate in scheduled weekly internal team and client meetings providing statistics and progress on group air fulfillment - Recognize issues and escalate to appropriate team members and participate in the troubleshooting process - Oversee discrepancy resolution (related to assigned area) with other program leads, colleagues, client and/or attendees - Handle attendee calls and emails ensuring complete customer service and Service Level Agreements are maintained - Prepare for and lead internal group air briefing for teammates supporting you on a project; ensure they are kept informed of pertinent information through the life of the program
You're good at: - Learning and optimizing the optimal attendee online registration experience - Using event technology tools and Excel - Collaborative, big picture and inclusive problem solving - Communicating... both in writing and verbal, with a variety of communication styles and can embrace ideas and opinions different that your own
You might also have: - Cvent or Cvent Flex hands on registration and reporting experience - Degree in Hospitality.
You should know: - This role is virtual - Our standard working hours are 8:30 AM -5:30 PM with an hour break. - Covid vaccination might be required for this role.
