You will be the Senior Manager for the F-35 Item Management Team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the F-35 Item Management Senior Manager you will lead a team within the F-35 Supply Items Management organization overseeing a variety of systems/commodities (ex. Deployment team and Supply Readiness Cell). You will oversee the management of large scale, complex systems and operations across multiple contracts. You will guide a dynamic team of other leaders and individual contributors. Your responsibilities will include as follows:
- Responsible for leading and empowering team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex technical or operational problems. Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance standards.
- Establishes operating policies and procedures that impact the Items Management organization. Provides guidance to team based on organizational goals and company policy.
- Develops and implements supply availability strategy and execution plans. Supports the Sales, Inventory & Operations Synchronization (SIOP) process in optimizing aggregated demands across all sources of supply
- Manages organizational change, talent development and retention and organizational growth.
- Use project management expertise to troubleshoot, create solutions, and build project plans for complex supply issues that arise

Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in supplier performance management, supply readiness improvements, and/or inventory management processes using supply related tools, processes and/or data architectures (i.e. SAP, ERP tools)
- Previous demonstrated experience in formally leading teams (i.e. previous L-code or leadership experience) and/or developing strategic plans
- Previous demonstrated Project Management experience (i.e. building and delivering to project plans; managing deadlines, budget, changing priorities)
- Previous experience driving closure and resolving complex and large-scale technical issues and/or challenges
- Experience fostering customer relationships
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated development of Independent and Self-Motivated teams
- Experience with and/or supporting agile methodology and execution of work
- Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.
- Experience supporting a government customer and wide variety of customers.
- Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of connectivity and support of Sustainment to the overall success of the business.
- Adept at working within matrix organizations for successful execution.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
