Supervisor, Production (COPV) - 2nd Shift at SpaceX

SUPERVISOR, PRODUCTION (COPV) - 2ND SHIFT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise manufacturing and production of COPV bottles and Aft Structure builds
Direct hardware delivery projects for the development of structural components
Effectively manage an overall staff of 15+ technicians
Manage schedule and work load according to customer and business needs
Communicate deliverables with customer groups and upper management
Oversee employee performance reviews, training, and personnel qualifications
Review machine maintenance and efficiency changes to production processes
Manage area chores and metrics, and present status via monthly business reviews
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing/production environment
1+ years of experience leading a team or project
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 5+ years in operational leadership
Strong experience managing feeder shops, structural, and mechanical assemblies
Extensive experience in manufacturing within aerospace
3+ years of experience in structures, fabrication, and machine maintenance
Experience with management and oversight of complex projects
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Possess physical dexterity in order to correctly set up tooling and hardware
Strong computer skills with knowledge of collaboration tools
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work 2nd shift hours, extended hours, and/or weekends as needed
2nd Shift: Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 12:30am
Must be willing to travel for short/extended trips as needed
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Supervisor: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
