Job Summary
Humano, a third-party warehouse provider, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their site in their Southaven, MS. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and leading a team of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and effective workflow. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule and a 7:30am start time. Position will start in the beginning of April.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate daily tasks and workflow
Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Allocate resources effectively to meet productivity targets and customer demands
Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Address any issues or concerns raised by team members and take appropriate actions
Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders
Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory role in the warehouse industry
Familiarity with overseeing employee production metrics and driving improvements
Experience working in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment is a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to enforce them
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks is desirable
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training are a plus
