Job Family: Field Engineering
Experience modifying, moving, and installing a range of shipboard equipment.
Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.
Prepares drawings of simple, easily visualized structures, systems, parts or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints.
Knowledge of all Government and Commercial Design and Drafting requirements.
Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.
Works with Electrical/Mechanical engineers for stress/electrical/mechanical calculations
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 3+ years of full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment. 3+ years of TEMPALT and Design requirements.
Active Top Secret Clearance required. Must be eligible for TS/SCI
