TheNational Account Business Development ExecutiveatBatteries Pluswill act as the primary contact for National Accounts sales development and management. As theNational Account Business Development Executive, you will work with the National Accounts sales team to plan annual sales targets and market penetration within targeted industry segments to grow sales and profits.

Responsibilities:
Sales
Prospect and canvas prospective customers, and obtain self-generated appointments. Make effective sales presentations to key decision makers of major corporations.
Manage leads from inception to close, develop and negotiate profitable deals.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities on large scale accounts. Make recommendations to fill market demand and achieve sales goals.
Develop, maintain and improve relationships. Meet and communicate with franchisees to provide market and program information, and improve local execution of assigned customer programs.
Regularly meet with Inside and Commercial sales management to create, monitor and plan sales strategies and tactics.
Facilitate better communication between internal departments and the field.
Planning, Administration and Support
Manage assigned customers and effectively handle customer care issues.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, pricing and processes in order to speak knowledgeably with customers and franchisees.
Work with internal Marketing and Sales teams to provide support for the development and execution of sales campaigns and programs. Track, monitor and report on effectiveness
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contacts, opportunities and account information in databases.
Assist in forecasting sales and setting National Accounts sales goals, metrics and measures.
Communicate sales metrics actual v budget and plans through regular status reports.
Attend regular meetings to provide detailed information to management to assist in the development of marketing and sales plans.
Operate within assigned budget guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related field
6+ years National Accounts sales experience with a demonstrated success record.
Valid Driver's License; clean driving record and ability to rent a car
Travel: up to 50% overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and ever increasing sales
Previous operational experience and/or direct P&L / SBU experience
Experience and comfort level with making executive presentations
