Position summary: Responsible for providing interior design services on a variety of commercial projects.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial interiors projects, including:
Programming
Schematic design/space planning
Design development
Construction documentation
Construction administration
Manage selection of furniture and preparation of furniture specifications
Manage client expectations and consultant coordination
Mentor junior designers
Involved in business development for interior design market
Nonessential functions and responsibilities
Required Skills
Required Experience
Preferred Experience
Health care and/or senior living experience
Experience in construction document development, finish selection and space planning/programming and managing projects
Experience with computer-assisted design software such as Revit, and Sketch Up
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
