We are hiring a Linux System Administrator to support a program in Annapolis Junction, MD. This program will enable the Government to obtain subject matter expertise and highly technical assistance in building and maintaining prototype and niche analytics and tools; this contract will also enable the Government to maintain and document these prototypes and niche developmental efforts.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain customer networks including infrastructure.
Work as part of an engineering team comprised of approximately 10 personnel, each with specific tasking.

Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field plus 4-years of relevant experience, Master's degree plus 2-years of relevant experience, Associate's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or High School diploma/GED plus 8-years of relevant experience.
Relevant experience must be in the installation or maintenance of network or telecommunications equipment and/or using specialized test equipment and network analysis tools (e.g., network management software, data analyzers, BERTS and OTDR).
Preferred:
Linux system administration.
Patching, scanning for security vulnerabilities.
ATO renewals.
POAMs.
Stand up machines for specific uses, tear down when complete.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and A+ certificates are preferred.
