Job Summary
We are looking for Outpatient Therapists (LMHP or LMHP-R) that are interested in providing Outpatient Psychiatric Services to our clients based out of our Virginia Beach location, or remotely . As an Outpatient Therapist, you would be in position to provide comprehensive clinical care to our clients, grow professionally throughout different career opportunities we offer, while simultaneously maintaining your work life balance by utilizing telehealth model and building your own schedule.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct comprehensive and biopsychosocial assessments for intake of outpatient psychiatric services and create person-centered treatment plans for individuals and families via telehealth conferencing.
Build and carry a personal caseload of individuals and families.
Have the flexibility to conduct sessions during the day, evenings and weekends (if needed) to service individual client's needs.
Submit clinical documentation, such as progress notes, treatment plan, and assessment documentations in an individual's electronic health record timely.
Demonstrate and comply with knowledge of ethical standards of client's and human's rights.
Maintains privacy and confidential information within HIPPA guidelines and organizational policies.
Understand and application of cultural competency and trauma informed therapy.
Collaborates and coordinates with other providers to ensure comprehensive needs of clients are met.
Provide crisis intervention if needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Must possess Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Resident in Counseling / Resident in Social work (LMHP-R) credentials.
At least two years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Familiarity with providing outpatient services and knowledge of child, adolescent, and adult development, co-occurring mental health disorders, evidence-based counseling, and crisis intervention.
Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with a diverse clientele.
Individuals who enjoy being a part of team and working together to professionally develop
Preferred but not required for professional certifications or additional licenses such as Play Therapy, Music Therapy, and Art Therapy.
