The successful candidate will provide contract support by reviewing, interpreting, and briefing to senior leaders contract requirements, contract change impacts, contract extensions, the administration of IWTAs, and processing requests for proposal or ROMs. The individual will be proficient in understanding contract terms, articulating those positions to the business and ensuring the program teams are able to effectively understand the impacts of the agreements reached with the Customer.

Overall responsibilities include:

- Ensure contract actions are compliant with Lockheed Martin Policies and Procedures and implementing business strategies for new business opportunities.

- Manage, participate in and/or conduct preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, government regulations, and customer specifications.

- Provide contracts expertise to the program and contracts teams in support of the Strategic and Missile Defense Line of Business.

- Serve as an advisor on contract negotiation strategies, FAR/DFAR requirements, and regulatory requirements to include government issues/actions.

- Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex and strategic issues which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

- Ability to take initiative and achieve results in a

focused, fast paced, and dynamic environment

requiring ability to envision solutions to resolve issues

accurately and timely.

- Ability to work with FAR and/ or DFARS

Desired Skills:

- Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPAF/IF, T&M).

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

- Detail and teamwork oriented.

- Active Clearance.

- Experience with high dollar ($500M+) government contracts and proposals

- You should possess a strong ability to work and communicate with all partners on a recurring

basis. You will play a key role in shaping the future of

Lockheed Martin through gaining follow-on and new

business as well as developing leaders within the

organization.

- You should be a collaborative strategy

focused negotiator with an understanding of how

negotiation strategy impacts both Lockheed Martin

and the customer.

- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, strategic, highly visible, multi-location, multi-business unit environment within tight deadlines.

- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders including regular senior level briefings.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $91,300 - $175,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $105,000 - $197,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
