Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager Operations Director to join our team!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer in helping to manage strategic initiatives with a commitment to operational excellence and a -constant improvement- mindset

  • Program manage multiple projects within the organization (primarily related to system changes, process changes and integration of new ventures into existing business processes)

  • Project manage certain key projects

  • Working with cross functional leaders to ensure internal teams are working efficiently on projects and allocating an appropriate amount of time away from their routine responsibilities to the project to ensure success

  • Manage preparation & delivery of executive summary reporting of projects

  • Help with scoping phases of projects and developing time phased project plans including key dates and milestones

  • Deep knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods.

  • Ability to flex leadership style to accommodate a wide variety of team member styles and leverage team diversity.

  • Assist in budget development and monitoring of projects

  • Develop Corporate Templates, Methodologies, and change management strategies

  • Project & Task handling strategies - driving change in organization through sharing of best practices.

  • DIFOT (Deliver in Full on Time) champion

  • Conduct audits of business processes, make strategic recommendations from process improvements

  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field

  • 10 years' experience in a Business Analyst or Project Manager role

  • PMP Certification strongly preferred

  • Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills

  • Understanding of global business culture and challenges

  • Apparel, wholesale, and retail industry experience preferred

  • Ability to comfortably and work with all levels within the organization

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
