Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Productio n Contracts Manager for our fast-p a ced, eve r - chang i ng env i ronment. C 3 produces Lollapalooza and the Austin City Lim i ts Mu s ic Fe s tivals, as well as many other live event and m u si c e xpe r ie n ce s.

This person is an integral part o f t h e Contracts team. W e are a r e lati v ely small de par tme n t that processes over 2,500 Production related contra c ts per year, s o we a re looking for someone de pendab l e wh o can l e ar n quickly and remain consistent in what they h a ve learned. Experience wit h co n tracts is strongly preferred .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Producti o n related co n trac ti ng process for your assigned Festival or Event from start to completion

  • Creating, evaluating, negotiating, revising, and executing several in-h o use templates o f Agreem e n ts for Vendo r s and Contra c tors, as requested

  • Streamlining communication and monitoring the contracting processes betwe e n Vendors or Contractors and our Legal Department

  • Collecting c ompliant Certificates o f I n s u ra nce from ea ch Vendor or C ontra c tor

  • Tracking and maintaining a detailed log with Contract status updates for each Event

  • Proactively identify and discuss disc r epancies o r potential issue s with Event, Legal o r Risk Management

  • Maintain related contract documents and correspondence

  • Advise new client events of the Agreement lifecycle including policies and procedures

  • Provide guidance, support and assistance to company employees regarding the interpretation of contract terms

  • Maintain the Contracts portion of our in-house database

  • Perform other job respons i bilities, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years or more of relevant experience in contract administration , busi n ess administrative and/or l egal/insurance environm e nt.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Busine s s Admini s tration, Commu n ications) a plus or combination of experience

  • Must have a strong understanding of contracting and professional services agreements

  • Background in E v ent Producti o n preferred

  • Outstanding written a nd verba l com m un i cation skills to handle signif i cant Vendor, Contractor a nd C o -worker c o ntact

  • Superior organizational and project management skills

  • Exceptional att e ntion to d e ta i l and follow-through abilities

  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to effectively multi-task, reprioritize and work proactively and independently to meet deadlines and drive agreements to conclusion

  • Positive atti t ude an d professional disposition

  • Co m p ut er skills and proficiency in MS applications

  • Flexibi l ity i n work hours a nd availability, especially during major projects an d events

  • Ability to tra v el
