The Principal Cloud Platform Engineer is an exceptional and influential thought leader and driver of Cloud Engineering for our Enterprise IT and Business IT teams in both IaaS/PaaS and SaaS implementations. Serve as the primary interface to business leaders, senior executives, and product teams; lead design thinking and establish and drive cloud strategy including both infrastructure, platforms and applications/services; lead projects with a focus adhering and engineering to established guiding principles, platforms, and standards.
In partnership with executive leaders, lead the Cloud transformation strategy , driving toward the future state for the team or customer base within domain.
Mentor, guide, and teach other engineers as they solve and navigate complex problems in changing/evolving technology landscape.
Coach DevOps ideologies while driving and communicating change supporting DevOps/SecOps methodology within the organization.

7-10 years of infrastructure or software engineering experience with 5+ years of experience in Cloud technologies/platforms and transformation. Experience with cloud strategy, cloud provider ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP) and migrating Enterprise from traditional data center Infrastructure, Application and Data designs to hybrid or fully-cloud enabled practices. Experience creating and executing on Cloud transformation strategy. Viewed as and sought out as Cloud transformation thought leader within respective domain.Experience with container orchestration, Kubernetes; experience with best security practices for Linux/UNIX Windows servers.Demonstrated ability to bridge technology knowledge gaps between IT staff and corporate staff such as Legal, Compliance and Audit organizations.
