Oracle Integration Developer - Technical Lead

The Senior Oracle Integration Engineer is responsible for design and development of integrations from primary systems to the Oracle cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for creating technical designs, build and unit testing for complex integrations between different systems using Oracle PaaS, OIC capabilities.

What you will do - Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and create technical integration designs

  • Build and unit test complex integrations across different systems.

  • Design applications that impact application environments within across the organization

  • Recognizes areas of improvement in the development lifecycle within integrations and recommend action plans

  • Create, review, and develop existing and new integrations

  • Designs modifications to existing software, designs reusable components, and elimination of redundancy in designs throughout the environment

  • Drives efficient resolution for system outages as well as performance and functional shortcomings

  • Engages in a critical support situations and effectively, efficiently, and quickly drives to successful resolutions

  • Investigates new technologies and techniques and researching ongoing industry developments

Purpose of the role

It takes a passion for technology to develop consistent and reliable data integrations. Working collaboratively and creatively as part of a close-knit delivery team, an integration developer will be part of the integration process from development to production.

The Senior Integration engineer works with the key teams to develop design patterns and integrations that get us relevant, accurate data to the Oracle platform. This position will work with various IT teams to ensure we are getting the most up to date, accurate information from our primary systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 + years' experience developing Oracle PaaS products (OIC-integrations), required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required

  • At least 2 implementations of cloud integrations using OIC

  • Hands-on developer knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL development

  • Hands on experience with Oracle BIP report building

  • Good understanding of Oracle PaaS for SaaS extension patterns

  • Ability to independently manage the technical work and business stakeholder for end-to-end delivery

  • Understanding of OCI and PaaS for SaaS architecture

  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud SaaS and OCI application and integration data security

  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and SCM APIs/web services

  • Knowledge of ATDB and DB design best practices

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center or Dallas Tech Hub and have a Hybrid work arrangement

Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will be considered for this specific role.
