The ERP Solutions Architect is a key role within the Engineering organization, responsible for designing scalable, extensible, portable digital solutions for internal business and technical teams. The ERP Solutions Architect will work closely with our business users and technical team, acting as the domain and subject matter expert. Experience working with SAP, MS Dynamics, GP, Nav, Sage, Lawson, Epicor or Oracle ERP, along with varied eCommerce and cloud platforms is critical. Should have excellent design, decision making and leadership skills showing commitment, end to end vision, planning, integrity, and pragmatic approach to drive organization towards continual success. _Essential Job Results_ * Design and implement functional enhancements to ERP finance, supply chain, inventory, warehouse, and order management systems. * Own and drive the strategic architecture vision and the technologies required to ensure delivery of business solutions at Skechers. * Engage, collaborate, and partner with Skecher's Digital, Retail, Wholesale, Customer Service, Supply Chain leaders and partners across Business and Technology to understand long and short-term business strategies, provide architecture leadership, and engage in proactive planning of an executable design. * Represent the Software Engineering & Architecture group in end-to-end solution conversations with customers and stakeholders. * Participate in providing mentoring support and guidance to team members to help grow skills and capabilities. * Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Serve as a subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with the ability to adapt and improvise in different situations. * Own the writing and presenting of presentations around end-to-end architecture strategies, solutions, and best practices to stakeholders. * Working with business closely to collect requirements, converting into functional and tech requirements for internal team to deliver. * Design solutions and engage with development teams until delivery to review the requirement traceability meeting business needs and expected outcome. * Define architectural patterns, set standards for tech team to deliver solutions based on previous implementations. * Serve as a key contributor to Architecture Review discussions with technology leads and business stakeholders * Review all solution delivery approving any design and removing any anti patterns. _Additional Responsibilities-_ * Other duties as assigned _Supervisory Responsibilities- _ * Yes. _Job Requirements-_ * ERP Financials module understanding (AR, GL, AP) & Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics, Lawson or other ERP experience. * Designs and implements functional enhancements to financial systems with moderate supervision of management to support user information needs * Administration and support of assigned financial systems and assists users in effectively applying technology to support their operational, reporting and analysis needs. * Strong experience with Amazon Web Services, including understanding their capabilities and limitations and being able to architect and deliver solutions leveraging various AWS platform services * Conceptualize and solution for key business use cases in collaboration with Business and Engineering partners * Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS & SaaS based solutions * Work with stakeholders to design highly available solutions on AWS * Design and implement reference architectures * Perform Well-Architected reviews with AWS solution architects. * Break down design plans into actionable project plans * Understand the business & application requirements and translate them into system / technical requirements * Educate best practices to ensure solutions are designed for successful cloud deployment * Build and communicate architectural roadmap for the platform based on business and product roadmap. * Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable web applications and services. * Create Prototypes for new roadmap items that may leverage new services stack. * The Solutions Architect is a very technical role - the candidate must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, analytics) and deep in at least two of those areas. * Suggest process changes (understanding the financial and operations side) * Ability to interface with the systems group * Good understanding of integration design patterns & best practices _Education and Experience-_ * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required. * 6+ years of experience designing and building order, warehouse, inventory management applications and systems. * 5+ years of experience with the design, architecture, and implementation of microservice architecture * 3+ experience working as a Solutions Architect in API-driven development. * 2+ years of cloud application design & development experience * Technical leadership in architecture, development and deployment of AWS based solutions. * Strong understanding of the cloud architecture patterns and solution design principles * Have experience implementing enterprise applications using cloud platforms * Must have experience with AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS storage solutions, and event-based services. * Prefer domain expertise in an apparel or footwear industry * Prefer Solution Architect certification (AWS/ Azure) * Application architecture and development experience preferred * Good communications and team player All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. _QUALIFICATIONS-_ To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
