Senior Business Development Director
Description
The Sr. Director, Business Development is responsible for establishing and overseeing the execution of all new business opportunities as well as building our network and expanding influence within the industry. Responsibilities include implementation of the business development plan and activities including prospecting, lead generation and qualification, presentation development and follow-up.

* Essential Functions:*
Ensure revenue objectives are met: Achieve predefined new business goals for Acosta by developing and executing lead generation plans and sales strategies for targeted markets.
Deploy strategic pipeline management: develop and maintain a strong pipeline through lead qualification enterprise framework. This will encompass new client lead generation & developing existing clients to full integrated services.
Work in partnership with Business Strategist to prepare and present top-to-top presentations within BD workspace.
Work in partnership with Deal Desk to align on pricing & contract scope for proper & timely contract execution.

Qualifications
* Requirements:*
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor's Degree
Master's degree preferred
Strategic negotiation ability in selling to c-suite executives 5 - 8 years' experience required.
Proven track record/ history of multi-million-dollar annual sales development.
Prior experience in Retail, CPG, and/or manufacturing.
* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:*
Proven ability to prospect new business via industry research and cold call, create a robust pipeline, and negotiate well to ensure deal closure.
Adept at storytelling and selling to business leaders.
Stellar presentation skills and ability to engage and lead client meetings with senior stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze data and turn into real world solutions.
Adept at building sustainable relationships.
Entrepreneurial by nature.
High energy, positive thinker, collaborative, confident, consultative.
Strong interpersonal and highly developed writing skills; acute attention to detail.
Ability to travel 35%.
